Welcome to the OpenSpaMonitor blog. The OpenSpaMonitor is an Arduino based project designed to monitor the pH, ORP (oxidation reduction potential or sanitation), and Temperature of a hot tub, spa or pool.
This blog will be used to determine interest, discuss project goals, and document progress.
I have been working on this hot tub monitor since May of 2011, testing the pH and ORP probes and the real world application of the OpenSpaMonitor or SpaSitter. I am currently prototyping the third version which is based on the work of the OpenEnergyMonitor.
